Today Kim Kang received endorsements from local, state and national political figures demonstrating wide support for her candidacy for a seat in the Minnesota House of Representatives representing District 33B.
Locally, Kang received the endorsement of Christine Lizee, The Mayor of the City of Shorewood, one of eleven cities in District 33B.
In a show of political support at the state level and particularly as it relates to education in the state, Kang received the endorsement of Mindy Greiling, K-12 Education Finance Committee Chair and 8th term representative for District 54A.
At the national level, Kang received the endorsement of Keith Ellison, U.S. Representative for the 5th Congressional District and member of the House Financial Services and Judiciary Committees.

Kim Kang, 49, was endorsed on May 28th by the Democratic party for Minnesota House of Representatives (33B). Kang, has lived in 33b for 9 years, both as a resident of Wayzata and Orono. Her professional background includes starting and managing a non-profit, serving as a corporate staff accountant for Frito-Lay, Inc (Dallas, TX), and lobbying at the state legislature. She currently is the Public Policy and Early Childhood Director and lobbyist for PACER Center, a Minneapolis non-profit that advocates for children with disabilities. She has served her community as a member of the Wayzata/Plymouth League of Women Voters and is an Orono Planning Commissioner. |
